Video Slots – Diamond Cinema - Bogart and Bergman (TM)

Rick’s Cafe Americain, the intrigue, the love, the immortal song “As Time Goes By”. Here’s looking at you, kid. Once again IGT brings back the nostalgia of the silver screen, in this installment in the Diamond Cinema series of video slots. This game has two main bonuses. When three piano symbols land on the middle reels of any row they become animated and play the famous song “As Time Goes By”. This is the As Time Goes By Bonus. When the songs ends you will win the amount of the credits shown on the screen.

The Palace of Riches Bonus is triggered when three, four or five Bogart and Bergman symbols land left-to-right on any active payline. You are then whisked away into a classic old movie theatre where the impersonated voices of the Bogart and Bergman characters take you through the rest of the bonus round. During this round, starting with the bottom row, you will get to select a square from the on-screen grid. The squares reveal credit values, arrows, or Bogart and Bergman symbols. The credit values accumulate as the round progresses. If you reveal an arrow, you are then asked to select from the next row. If you find a Bogart and Bergman symbol, the game will now award you all of the credits on that row and you will be asked to keep selecting squares from the next row.

Once you reach the top row, you will be asked to select only one square. This can reveal either a credit value or glittering green jewels. If you uncover the credit value then this amount of your win is added to all your other wins so far. If you uncover the green jewels, you will then be transported to the Gem Bonus. The voices of the characters will ask you to pick from nine gemstones to reveal your additional credits. To see what this game looks like, I have included a photo.
