Video Poker Rules
Video poker draws its roots from draw poker. Video poker is a game of skill and is played like a computer game, that looks a lot like a slots computer, but requires much more skill than slots. Every hand is dealt five cards, on the screen, and players can then choose which cards they want to discard to draw again for the same number of cards discarded. A player can hold all five cards or choose to draw all five cards. The hand is analysed by the software to and paid out accordingly to the pay out schedule of the particular variant of video poker being played. The payouts of each video poker game are listed on the machines or the website which you are playing at. The payouts often differ between different variants of the game, but will always be listed on the machine. The return on the game also varies from different machines and casinos. Casinos, generally make enough from all the bad players of the game to make a good profit, but know that many skilled players can generate a small profit from video poker or at least break even. The payouts will generally follow this type of progression from highest to lowest.
