Jobs to be created by casino expansion
The expansion of a casino will create hundreds of jobs.
Some 800 jobs could be created as a result of the expansion of a casino development in Florida in the US.Construction work is ongoing at the Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek with James Billie, Seminole Tribe of Florida chairman, stating that the area was "just a pond" before the facility came to the region more than a decade ago. Speaking to the Sun-Sentinel, he said: "I would never have dreamed that it would look like this." Broward Alliance president Bob Swindell added that he is very happy to be able to announce the creation of the 800 jobs, especially as thousands of local people are currently looking for work. Earlier in the month, it was reported by 8 News Now that hundreds of jobs have been created in Las Vegas as a result of the opening of two new casinos in the famous city.
