Students launch online poker site
A new online poker site has been launched by students.
College students across the US have been given the chance to play online poker safely after a new site was set up by a group.Junior at Arizona State University (ASU) Chandler Bator and ASU alumnus Anthony Bucca joined forces to create Your College Poker Club, reports the Towerlight. Mr Bator stated that the idea for the site came after a fellow student was forced to drop out of his course as a result of the money he lost playing online poker. "We wanted to make something that was safer for them to fulfill their need without the same type of risk involved with regular gambling sites," he said. Mr Bator added that the ultimate aim of the site is to be able to offer a seat at the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Poker professionals from all over the world are in Europe at the moment in order to take part in the European tour stop of the WSOP. Published by Charlie 'Chips' Peterson |
